RO/DI- water bill?

It seems to take an awful lot of time to produce small amounts of water. For those with RO units, has your water bill gone up drastically due to the fact of having to use your unit so often????

No my bill has not gone up as much as I was spending buying water @ $1.00 a gallon.

1 a gallon, WOW, 25 cents here, 50 for salt

Its a $1.00 For salt water, and, .50 for plain R/O.

Mine runs almost constantly and water bill is never over $50.00 a month and that's with watering the lawn

A weekly average For me is about 10/12 gallons. The waste water is run to my washing machine. So no real water is wasted.

I buy RO water from the glacier machines at Kroger for .29 cents/gallon
