yeah, without a holding tank, your water flow will be reduced to nothing. With the RO/DI, the water flow is reduced almost to a trickle, depending on your house water pressure. I would just get a regular ro/di unit - attach it to your water supply (I have mine simple attached to a regular water hose outlet in the basement) and then have the waste run outside or in drain or in a storage for watering plants, etc. Remember, for every gallon you make of RO/DI, you'll be wasting about 3 gallons of waste water...
