Can anyone recommend a solid RODI unit.
I was looking into getting the Maxxima Hi-S (50GPD).
Is this a good unit. Are there additional things that need to be purchased when buying a RODI like filters etc. or do they come with the units.

Will the HI-S remove too many checmicals or is it technical better to be purer.

The purer the better IMO. The Typhoon III would be my first choice. Look at air water ice web site. The Typhoon III is a 100gph 5- Stage RO/DI unit. I have one and love it. There are all so several others here with a Typhoon and I've not heard of any complaints.

I have not used the air water ice RO's, but I have heard good things. I use a Kent Hi-S Maxxima RO/DI and love it. I have not algae problems since using this unit.

I have heard great things about both units. IT is a tough call without a doubt. Maybe I will flip a coin.
