yea thats what i do too.here is a good story.i have my r/o just outside my office window.i have a 45 gallon mixing tank inside.so i run the 1/8 hose through the window and i taped the little gap .well yesterday i started up the r/o .hum no water going into the mixing tank.so i went outside and pulled off the 1/8 hose off the r/o yep water coming out.so i hooked it back up.went back to the mixing tank still no water.so i pulled on the hose .only to discover that the dog my wife rescued chewed the hose in half and the water was going on the carpet.luckily it was only going for 10 minutes.glad my sis in law is taking her to buffalo sunday.

What sort of a number do you look for coming out of a RO/DI filter? Minimum maximum?
0 is optimum.......I think I read that around 3-4 you should change the filters
