ro or ocean water

im changing my 60 aggressive into a reef. the water i have in there now is from the ocean(i change my water with ocean water). is it better to take out all the water and put ro with salt in or should i just leave it as is?

ive heard of ppl using ocean water, but you have to worry about pollutants. Unless you get the water miles off shore i wouldnt use it. If it were me id change all the water with RO water.

Where do you get your ocean water from? How long has your aggresive tank been running? Interesting question.......

i get my water from scrips. they getn the water 2 miles out and then it is purified. my aggressive has been running for about 5 years
