ro unit/well water

i recently moved and now have well water, can I use my RO unit with this water source???

Most types are usable with both tap and well water.

I have a well and my RO/DI unit is under the sink. I have a hose with a valve on it to run into a 5 gal bottle that I transport to the tanks or my mixing bucket, which is a hugh garbage can.
My well water was high in ammonia. Good luck.

I think many of us are on wells. It is OK! Here is my Reef keeper in my garage.

I'm running my Coralife RODI unit off of well water as well. No problems in the 2.5 years that I've had it going.

Yep, we are on well water too and run Typhoon III Extreme. So far it has worked out good. We've gone from 158 to 0!

hook it up and try it and then test the water. you've got nothing to lose.

i have used this unit on city water hook up, but wanted to know if there would be a problem with well water that the RO would not treat?

Nope, The well water with clean filters sould be just as good as city water. Just repace filters as recomended my the manufacture!
