I have had my RO unit for 3 months now. with it providing water for my 90 gallon.
I have never done any maintenance on the RO unit. Do I have to do any maintenance on RO units?
Now the water coming out of the RO unit smells bad! and I am having a diatom outbreak in my tank.
Any suggestions?

Replace filters asap. That what I have been told lately. Also you can get a TDS meter (total dissolved solids) Let you know when the fiters need replacing. Good luck..

I have gotten a total of maybe about 300 gallons out of this thing and replace the filter already???
