can i replace a 75 gpd membrance for my 50gpd ro unit?
will it make it into a 75gpd then?

i have a 50 gpd coralife ro unit with 3 canister
which of these do i need for the 3 canister
1 Micron Purtrex Depth Sediment filters
5 Micron Purtrex Depth Sediment filters
0.6 Micron MATRIKX® +1 Carbon Filter Cartridges
5 Micron MATRIKX + CTO/2 Carbon Filter
and what is this?
Flow Restrictor for 75 GPD RO w/ Quick-Connect Fittings

thats what i have in my unit, but its not a coralife unit though

thats what i have in my unit, but its not a coralife unit though
thats how rodi's are set up

the third canister on the pure flo is for the di cartridge. I had the same unit. First one is sediment filter, second is carbon, third is di.

its a very small pice of plastic and it should be where your rejected water line meets your pressure vessel. you just un s_crew the fitting and pul the line away from the unit and it'll fall out.
yes its a one time thing and they are fairly cheap no more than 10 bucks. just make sure to place the new one in the same way the old one came out or youll blow your tfc membrane

sounds like you need to change your filters 14 is kinda high. contrary (ooh thats not spelled right) to what some people think if your water is really bad 500 tds or more you will still get great water but youll have to swap your filters more often. how old is the unit?

thats what i was wondering, its new. ive talked to the filter guys and they said 14ppm from 740+ppm was the best it was going to get to. thought about changing the filters but dont know??

why? it can get better are you saying your ro water is 14 ppm going into the di?

14ppm before DI, 740ppm coming from the faucet

i finally just got all of the filters but I cant figure out how to install the flow restictor
here is a picture of it and also the ro units

on both end of the restictor look like connection for the tube (water line) to go in and out
i was think of cut the feed water line and connect that in the middle
what do you guys think?
