RO units

Ok question. I'm thinking seriously of getting an RO unit. I've seen them at my LFS for about $99.00 (not sure how many gal/day those are. The thought is that having one would save me and Beth (Lolly1) a lot of travel time and money...in the long run.
Can anyone post here what it takes to set one of these things up? Do they come with pretty decent directions on how to set it up? How complicated is it to set one up?
Questions, questions...

I've got the Kent Maxxima RO/DI 60gpd. I don't have the room to hook it directly to the house water line so i just hook it up to the sink and its ready to go. It's not very complicated at all. I would definitely recommend getting an RO/DI unit, not just RO unit. Water will be at its puriest form after it hits the DI cartridge. Should be 99.9% clean.

i would consider getting an ro/di instead. you can get a good one for 150. like a typhoon III, i've got a spectrapure but they are usually more expensive.
i have mine setup in my laundry room, i mounted it on the wall there, i split the cold water going to my washer for it, i took the waste line into the return for my washer....works great. i use a brute trash can to collect my water and use a pump to pump it out when ready to use.

I just bought a Kent Marine Deluxe 4 stage RO/DI Unit with a 60 GPD output Mmembrane. It was a little costy at $270.00 but well worth it due to West Palm Beaches horrible water quality. By the way, make sure the unit you get has a DI (deinonizer) canister on it or atleast add one to a normal RO unit. Good luck finding the right RO system! (preferably RO/DI).
