Mine has 0 TDS, was fair priced, and produces about 2g a hour. If I had a monster sized tank I would say no. I have 125g tank and works fine for me. And the replacement cartridges are fairly priced online.

I just purchased the unit below and should have it on the 3rd.
I have no clue how to hook it up or use one so it should be interesting. Ill let ya know!

check out the filterguys i just purchased one from them---- have not had chance to try it yet ---i liked the fact they answer your questions and have replacement filters reasonably priced

I'm a fan of the filterguys too, just when you order their unit make sure to order those little blue C clips they don't come included.
