Try walmart and other grociery stores...or buy your own unit. 99 cents a gallon? If it was 99 cents a gallon, then it had better be premixed saltwater or that's a rip off.

for the most part its either .49 C a gallon or .99 C a gallon or you can invest in everything you need and make your own :)

Most grocery stores will sell RO water by the gallon bottled. Usually costs me $1 per gallon. You can also check your grocery store to see if they have a RO machine that you can bottle your own water with. That runs me 40 cents per gallon.

Oh, you put it on the wrong side of the 99...and I read it as cents. I recommend waiting and for now looking for a place to buy it...here it is 37 cents a gallon, which isn't bad, most other places it is a quarter a gallon.

If walmart has it do you have to buy your jugs or they supply them?
Well, you have to buy the jugs...but they are sooo stupid, I got away with buying three 5 gallon jugs full of water for a dollar and 84 cents, they didn't charge me for the jugs. And I did it with 3 seperate cashiers too. So you may have the same luck.

Yeah don't get a unit. You'll need a hookup built in near your tank to do that. If your 16yrs old I'm sure your folks aren't gonna want to mod their house for your tank.
Those machines are like all over the place usually. They're just those water machines outside of grocery stores. I mean every big name grocery store should have one outside, unless you live in the boonies. You can try a water store too if you can't find one elswhere. It's usually like $1.25 for 5gals of water. LFS will charge more than that. Just look on the info on the water machine. It'll usually notes about the purification process they use. I think like 99% are RO/DI so your fine.

Yeah well you can usually get those ones with a twist lid for about $7 at your LFS or look online. If worst comes to worst you can fill 5gal buckets, but only fill each one with like 3-4gals to prevent splashing around during the drive. Some even had twist lids you can place on them. I'd really look for something you can seal well though.

how much are the jugs?
At walmart, they are free if you are sneaky...otherwise, for 1 gallon it's like 67 cents and for a 5 gallon its like 13 bucks. Again, if you just take the jug and fill it up, they may assume that it is just a refill.
