RO Water

I have never bought the RO water so this may be a stupid question. How do you achieve the RO water to be the approximate temperature of your tank water (78 deg or whatever)? When you buy this at the store, I can't believe that you can just adjust the temperature. Can someone fill me in? Thank you.

RO water is basically distiled water, correct me if im wrong. I think I remember "making" distiled water in highschool via reverse osmosis.

distilled water is made by heating water in a kettle, and as the water turns to steam, only pure water will evaporate. the steam is the collected in another container where it condenses back to water, without the impurites.
RO water is made by pushing water through a membrane filter that prevent almost all unwanted solids in the water from passing.
either way the result is purified water
