Just found out that a friend of mine can get me RO water free.
He works for a kidney dialyisis company and make plenty of RO water. Has anybody else used this water?

Try to get some if you can, its better than tap water, just make sure it is RO water

Never heard of this one. Can you attest to its purity? Is it sanitary? I would invest in an efficient ro/di unit which will pay for itself in no time..

Just found water is tested for chlorine and heavy metals 0ppm.
Got it and can get all I need every week.... free....

Free is always nice, but remember, you usually get what you pay for. RO water is also not as good as RO/DI water, which is a higher level of purity, so you'll have less impurities that could feed problem algae, etc. Be sure to regularly test it for copper and phosphates to be sure it won't cause a problem. Also make sure you aerate it for quite some time (24-48 hrs, though I'd go on the higher end) when you mix your salt.
