rock anemone

I bought a rock anemone today and it seems like my peppermint shrimp is trying to eat it, can someone help.

I could be wrong, but I think rock anemones and aptasia are similar, as in nuisance anemones. Pepps are good for ridding them. So it is doing it job. Let others chime in, but if I am correct you got robbed/mislead.

I am not 100% sure if it is actually a nuisance or not. I do think they are similar though. And if so, that could be why the pepps are picking at it. Bump for ya
