Rock Questions

I have a 120 tall and i was wondering how much rock you think I should have in it. Right now I have about a 1 foot tall mound of Fiji rock on the back left side, most of my fish hang out there. In the far right corner I have a mound of 3 rocks that make a cave for my shark and mandrin goby. In the middle I have 3 large pieces of Tongan live rock. Is this enough?

For "proper" filtration, you want 1-1.5lbs per gallon of water in your tank. How much you get is up to you, but personally, I like a big fat stack of rock. Fish seem to enjoy it as well. It really depends on how much you can afford to put in your tank. However, for your mandarin, I really would put as much as possible in there. The more rock, the more pods, the longer it lives.

Ya I like the look of my tank right now but I also have 2 ten gallon tanks under my big tank that dont have any rock at all in them (they also dont have any fish.) So before i populate them i am gonna add a wall like u guys are talking about.
