I just had to snap a picture of this one...
I added this bicolor blenny last week and he's got a world of personality. Out of all the spots in the tank. He loves the 1 powerhead hooked up to the wavemaker! Between cycles he munches on the sides where the algea grows and when it shuts off, he curls up inside... When it comes on he gets shot out like a rocket and does it all over again!

Nope.. it's hilarious...he's been doing it for the past 5hrs. The wavemaker is on a 3minute on/off cycle and he loves it!

My neighbor had to dig his out one time in a similar situation. My bicolor loves squeezing himself into the holes in the rocks with his head barely poking out. Very entertaining!

That is hilarious. See if you can get a picture of him being launched...LOL
I've tried but the shutter speed on my digi camera's not fast enough... he comes out as one big purple blur.

They are primarily a vegitarian but will take in prepared foods also. You can see in the picture where that one is rasping algae off the powerhead. Those round circles cut into the algae are from that fish.

I just bought one but I would like to know more about them. He is super cool and eats anything he can find. The first thing he did in my tank was hunt down a copepod so they do eat them but will eat flake/pellets too.

Well he's completely cleaned that powerhead and has moved on to another one... unfortunatly this one is on all the time... so when he takes a break, he just sits on top instead of inside it :hilarious
I've had blenny's before and I have to say... this one is a blast to watch. If they all would get along... I would love to pack a 50gl tank full of just blennies and watch them all day.

Would a bi-color and a lawnmower get along in an 85 gal? I love my lawn mower, i would like to get a bi-color also. everything just says you can't put them togeather in a small tank. How small is that?
