I am looking for some pics/advise on how to do my rockwork. I have about 80-85 lbs. fiji LR in my 75 gal. reef. Please post pics or tell me how to make it look cool...I dont like how it is now. Thanks!
move it back as far as you can and stack upwards while making a few caves and arches. Leave as much room open up front as you can so you can put corals or clams on the sandbed and leaves more swimming room for the fish where you can actually see them.
thats what I had I just dont like it... I was thinking about stacking rocks on both sides and leaving the center open..anyone have pics of this? Thanks
Lets try a re-arrangement here I made a pic of my sugesstions.I like the curve look it brings it back in the center and towards the front on the sides. Make a square tank look bigger IMO Take your Octopus dead corals and place on botton near cave enteries. I think they look better in sand as a single display bottom piece then shoved inbetween the rock work as you have it.
Anyway just one idea. Good luck, and post pics as you try new ways and mabe we all could vote..........I would not add anymore animals intill your happy IMO.
Thanks so much for doing that!!! I am going to go with your idea and hopefully post pictures when I am done! Thanks again! I also already have a black background on it! lol
i dont have pictures of mine, but i have a 45 with 80 lbs of rock, i have a reef on both sides of the tank and i have a curved peive connecting them, and the middle is open
