I think in order to answer anything, we would need to know what type of unit you have

I think that's a very personal question to be asking someone on an internet forum at 1am on a friday night....you can get in trouble for those sort of things

It's probably fine. DI seems to change colors very quickly for me. Do you have a TDS meter? It seems like even after my DI has changed colors completely, it still puts out 0 tds for a while...
Just my experience.
So sorry for this whole mess. Stick with us...you'll be glad you did. This is a RARE thing to happen. I'm sorry.

I hear that. Has the color changed completely? In any case, your unit is probably running fine.

HMMM...I have the Airwater ICe 75g compact...3 canisters are clear and the DI is encased in a white container...so I guess I'll never know if it changes colors
...BUT my TDS says 0...and it is fairly new so no worries

Yeah, some DI is a color changing resin. When it turns from green/blue to a tanish color, it is time to change the resin. Yours is not a color changing resin so, you will know when to replace it when the TDS goes up.
