Hello I am looking for an ecosystem for my 120 that I am setting up. I am willing to part with my beloved rolex time piece. Please email me if interested.
WATCH HAS BEEN TRADED!

i could truly make a bucket of money by going and buying you a new ecosystem for 300 bucks, trading your watch for it, and then selling your watch off for 10 times that... or you could save yourself the loss and do it yourself.

Just out of curiosity Willy, what makes you say that? Because I inherited some of my Uncle's Rolex's from his collection and have done some serious research on them over the years. So, before I offer my thoughts on this serious accusation, I am just curious why you think it may/may not be fake. Cause DIN has a good reputation here and hasn't been sketchy before. Just curious since the accusation has been made without evidence or reason.

PS--- like I said... I am not saying whether you are right or wrong yet. Just playing Devil's advocate for DIN.

most "real" rolex watches have the words Swiss Made right under the 6 o'clock postion. if this watch is real it should have that. better yet, take off the band and show the serial #'s engraved on the watch itself. hey i may be wrong, it just looks that way to me and i dont want to see anyone get ripped off.

Just for everyones info all rolexs do not need to say swiss made at all because rolexs can be customized with aftermarket dials, bezels, and bands either by the customer or by the store that sold it to you. Also most rolexs are marked T SWISS MADE T if made recently. Just adding my 2 cents to help the thread out. Also DIN u should state whether its gold, 2tone, or all stainless. And as said before remove the band and post the serial amd model #s of the side casing so that people can research what model and when it was made.
Good luck with the trade!

Willy, I hate to break it to you friend, but you are severely wrong. The majority of mine that I inherited don't say swiss made on them in that location. Especially the older ones. And the older custom ones tend to be more intricate than the newer ones. Except the submariner ones, which are fairly new all together. Just makin' sure DIN's name stays "golden" here. And as far as I can tell, that is a real one.

i apologize, most of the newer models do like the yachtsman and submariners. it still should have the model number engraved in the actual watch if you take off the bands though.

Serial numbers are really the only way lately with stainless....even a jeweler would need them or need to open it up to tell if it's real. The second hand is a good way as well.....fakes may tick with the seconds even , but a real Rolex second hand will tick 5-8 times a second to give it a very smooth movement. I've seen datejusts similar looking for up to 14,000 dollars....it is quite hard to believe you would take such a loss. Actually, even serial numbers can be faked. On the other hand....some of the best fakes are easily worth 300-500 bucks......

"Willystlye" First off I am offended that you think I would knowingly try to rip someone off! I work hard for my money as I am sure most people on here do so i find really offensive that you would accuse me of something like that! This watch taken to a local rolex dealer so that it could be examined. This is what he told me"It looks like the stones were added after market but the movement is definatly rolex" For the record this watch was found in the restroom at a Kansas City Chiefs game. I have had the watch for over a year it it keeps perfect time. It is two tone stainless steel. It is perpetual movement (meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist). That is the info I was going to give those who were intersted and emailed me. Although it is pointless now to have even explained since Mr. Willystlye decided to question my credabilty! I did not purchase this watch nor did I make it so I am mearly going by what I was told by a guy that makes his living off of selling watches. Also take a look on ---- and see how easy and cheap it is to get your hands on a watch face that say "Rolex" with the swiss made under the six! Two words do not make a watch real nor does it make me a scam artist!

This sounds like an episode of "Antiques Roadshow - No Holds Barred" just waiting to happen.

"Draxx" I am starting to lean more and more towards that direction. It's just that time is somewhat a comodity with me right now. (I have a two month old baby!)
