Can anybody give me any info on these fish? Those of you who have/had them. Aggressive? Reef safe? Max size? Any special needs? Difficulty? Do's Donts? I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you have any pics, that would be cool.

You not talking about a rooster hogfish, are you? (Lachnolaimus maximus) Hogfish are wrasse.

Yea..typically, all Fairy Wrasses are pretty much the same requirements....Aggressive? Not really....Reef safe? Yep..... Max size? most around 4 to 5 inches with time.... Any special needs? nothing I would call special.....Difficulty? generally considered hardy....Do's Donts? dont put 2 males together, can have several FMs...I would greatly appreciate it. Also if you have any pics,.... Never heard of a " Rooster Fairy ", got another name for it and might could find some pics or post one your self...

That is (the pic)the wrasse I was talking about. Which is the name this site calls it. So what exactly is this fish? I have wanted one of these for over a year, I cant find them listed anywhere else. Finally this site had them listed, but as I waited for another guy to come over and go in on a purchase, they no longer have any listed.
If I could get a positive ID on this guy then I might be able to find it elsewhere. Thank you all for you help thus far. You are all tremendouse.

Perhaps Paracheilinus lineopunctatus ( which is what I think it is ) or Paracheilinus cyaneus.

Filamented Flasher Wrasse
(Paracheilinus filamentosus)
or
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
(Paracheilinus mccoskeri)
or
Carpenters Flasher Wrasse
(Paracheilinus carpenteri)

imo they don't i never kept mine with females..i tried getting some and the male killed them all..i do not keep females with any of my fairy or flashers ..i know some people do but i really don't know if they flashed more or not with females in the tank..i like to use the room to keep males of diffrent flashers and fairy wrasses

BTW, I have to ask, it's just killing me. What are the holes in that picture? They look like drill bit holes, where ther hole wasnt completly drilled out clean. Or could be bullet holes maybe.

those holes are in a specimen cup that i use to introduce any fish to the tank...after qt i put the fish in there and it gives a chance for the other fish in the tank to get use to the new one...it helps alot with aggresion and i have been able to keep fairy and flashers that look like each other in the same tank...i leave the fairy or flashers inside the cup until i see that he can tanke care of him self..i look for them to flash or display at the others when they come up to it..this cup has worked very well for me and others that i have talked to that use it
