I have a jbj 28 gallon nano tank with led lighting. I have mainly soft corals and 2 clownfish. The clownfish have started trying to host in my brain coral and it is not liking it. I really want to get a rose anemone, but am worried it will sting all the other corals. Suggestions/

How olds tank? What kind of flow? Powerheads? Params? If all these are good, I say yes, but I'd look for a upgrade for him or a new tank when he starts growing.

I'd say no.....I have 2 roseBTA's in my 225G and they are both the size of dinner plates.....no way you can keep stuff away from that in a cube

Tank is 6 months old and everything is great for levels. Worried if I don't buy one the clowns will kill my great brain coral, worried if I do get one it will sting my other corals.

Even if you were to get one there's no guarantee that your clowns will take to it. Something else to consider. They may already be happy with the brain.

True Corey..I introduced a RBTA to my 120g yesterday and my clowns avoid it it seems. They still. Hopefully will host it maybe but there's no automatic response to the addition of an Anemone...each one is different. It really depends on you...if you the get nem, I highly suggest a upgrade soon as the nem with overpopulate the tank when he starts growing..

I'm sure it takes some time as it's something new in their environment. Although I think bubble tips are one of the better nems to have if you're looking for symbiosis to occur. Maybe some other folks here might have some tips or tricks for ya.

I got a green bta about 2 months ago, it picked a spot and i had to move around all the corals so it wouldnt sting any (a small colony of zoos are curently being stung but cant move them) it is doing great but its about 2-3x bigger now after 2months in my tank (i didnt account for it to get that big that quick, im gonna cut down on feeding it).
Clowns still show no interest in it...

I got a RBTA in my tank and both my clowns hosted a frogspawn and duncans

and in my gf tank I also have a RBTA in her 8 gallon Biocube with stock lighting and her clowns love it! I hate it, yet again I'm ontop of her tank and so far its been good for the past 6 months. So wish i can help, but that just my experience with my anemones.
