I bought a 9 lb chunk of liverock from the LFS about 2 weeks ago. I have seen this paticular rock in one of there display tanks for months before hand. I had always dropped the hint that i wanted that rock, but she would never sell it to me. This rock has so much stuff on it...I just had to have it. One of the little inhabitants was a Rose Bubbletip Anemone. Awesome lookin anemone. good color. hardy. she said that it has been on that rock ever since she has put the rock in that tank..<about 2 yrs> so i finally coaxed her into selling it to me..but i had to buy the clown that hosted it.. <not a problem> anyway. I just got home from work. i see what appears to be a second foot coming off one side of it...but i cant really tell. this is only the second anemone i have had. my question is....if it is spitting...how long will it take and how can i tell that that is what is happening? Im kinda fearful that maybe something is wrong with it too. i just don't know.
