I have a rose anenome that has been in my tank doing very well for about 8 month. When i first put him in he went right to a rock and stuck himself there and has not moved. Have a maroon clown that is in him all the time. Now for some reason he is on the move all the time more like the past 2 days not sure why checked water and everything is good ph is 8.4 everything else is zero or there abouts water temp is 78 and have more than enough light to keep him run vho's and all the other stuff in there is growing and spreading like crazy not sure why he is doing this all of a sudden and yes at times he does look smaller than he normally does any ideas please help

How old are your bulbs? Corals not doing as well or anemones moving could be a sign that they are getting old and loosing their light output. If they are more than 8-9 months old, replace them.

Time to check pumps and circulation as well, over time they might be getting calcium buildup and may be slowing down.
Do you feed this RBTA? if so how often? and with what type of food?
pH 8.4, at what time during the day did you take that reading?
Take an average, check morning, midway through the photo period and before/after lights off in the evening.
Could just be moving because it wants to.

Hi yes feed him daily and he eats misa shrimp and sometimes i feed him phytoplan the reading for the ph has been taken at different times and the water flow is still very good i do not have power heads in there but my pump runs at around 700 gla per hour he still looks very healthy the LFS here said that maybe with him moving away from the light that maybe his is going to split not sure but i hope all works out good because i love having him in my tank thanks for all the ideas so far everyone

Do not feed him daily..once a week is fine. You need to get a couple powerheads for circulation..regardless what pump you have. The RBTA would do better under MH's.
75 gal.2 X250 MH's and 4 X 110 actinic VHO's~
