Good water, good light. If it doesn't get much food when you feed the fish it will need to be target fed.

thats what i figured. i had a pink tip but i had to flush it cause it got sucked up into my powerhead. it didnt get all chopped up, i got it off the powerhead, but the next day it looked like it was melting. from what i read that means its dying. so i flushed it and ran some carbon for a few days.
