Rotten Anemone?

my anemone split about 2-3 weeks ago and his intestines and stuff are still showing out of his body, he deflates and infaltes. also, at night he will detach and attach to another rock, cruise around then end up in the same spot he was that night.. whats going on

he is moving around now.. anyone have advice before i think hes gonna crash my tank and give him the toilet execution

So sorry wocka I can't be everywhere and I do miss some posts.
What do you mean his intestins are showing, do you mean you can see his mesenterial filaments? or gametogenic tissue?

i cant take a pic now, took him out of the tank before he died. where he split a few weeks ago it seemed like her never repaired so stuff was hanging out (looks like intestines). he would also detach and move around everynight and end up at the same spot. i didnt want to take the chance of him stinging my other corals or getting stuck in a rock crevice and dieing so i took him out.
before the split he was 5" in diameter when i took him out he was the size of a quarter
