royal gramma and miniatus grouper

I just bought myself a medium sized miniatus grouper from my LFS and am afraid that it will go after my royal gramma, whom I have had for a few months now. The grouper has been just hanging out since I got him in the corner of the 92 gallon tank, is there a chance he will go after the gramma?

It is almost certain that your gramma will be a goner in no time. While you can, you should take out one of them.

Yea, unless yer gramma is gigantic, or really good at hiding, id give him one day before hes bye bye.

the grouper wasnt overly aggressive towards anyone actually, but i took him back today. its a shame, such a nice fish... oh well!

the grouper may not be agressive
but all groupers are opertunistic
if its edible its fair game
