Question is can I keep these two together in a 120 reef? Have researched but lots of conflicting info and vague answers. Anyone have an idea or experience with them?

Hiya,
I seriously considered doing this in a 37 gallon. However, I decided against it, was afraid of fighting. In a 125 I bet you'd be okay.
Try to get tank raised specimens. A little more epxensive, but soooo much hardier! I have a tank raised royal and he is as active as my damsels, is wonderfully colored and ate immediately. A tank raised neon in my area is $54, paid $20 for the royal.

hey thanks for the info. I figured in 120 they would be ok. And this site sells aquacultured neon dottybacks, so i'm in. thanks again.

IMO -
It is still a 4' tank, and that is not necessarily a lot of room to spread out. Just watch for aggression.
