So I have had my approx. 30 tank set up for about six months now and I have had 2 clowns and Flusher(Pajama Cardinal) in there with some live rock. On thursday I got 20lbs more rock and a sixline wrasse and a royal gramma. Both extremely healthy looking. My wrasse has been sticking around the left side of the tank with the clowns while the royal gramma was hiding in the rock on the right. They both were eating great on friday and the royal gramma was poking out occasionally... Then I found the wrasse and royal gramma fighting on the RG side of the tank and now the Royal Gramma is GONE. I tried looking everywhere and can not find hide nor fin of him anywhere!!! I know that they can be territorial but I cant imagine the wrasse picking the fight since he has been fine with everyone else.
Do you think maybe he is just hiding cause he is upset??? or do you think he is dead? Its not a very big tank and if he was dead i cant imagine where he would be??? Has anyone ever heard of them sleeping under the sand like my wrasses (in my other tank)? Has anyone else had problems with these two fish together, from what i have read they should be fine... Any ideas?
