Royal Gramma..where are you?

Hey Guys,
I recently added a Royal Gramma to my under water garden...but I haven't seen her since!
All my readings shows that they are territorial and love to hang out in the rocks....which is probably a good reason why I haven't seen it...but I was just wondering what everyone else has experienced with this fish.
Is there a certain trick to finding them?? I'm getting worried because I can't even get her out during feedings.

Yeah I have to agree, my gramma did the same. It hide in a large rock until he felt comfortable in his new home.

My yellow watchman has been in 3days now and I only catch 1 quick glimpse a day. I would be freaking out if I didn't get that short proof of life each day. My tank is only 30gal, how big is yours? If it's a 125gal, it might never come out!

Mine gets so far back in the smallest cracks of the rock work sometimes all I can see is a purple glow.
Sometimes I cant see him at all. Very cool fish.

Same here.
For the first few weeks my gramma stayed in the rockwork 24/7, and only peeked out once in awhile.
Girfriend said " well that's a nice pretty fish head you bought"

I didn't see mine for about 3 days, began to wonder if I accidentally threw it away with the baggie. Seller told me just to wait and not to move rock around or it might lock into a bolt hole. Well circumstances changed and I had to take a lot of rock out and rearrange. Ended up with gramma in the bottom of basket rock was in. Now gramma is showing itself often as if to say please don't dump me out again, I'm here see I'm here!!

They sure like the rock and all the holes and cracks. Give it a couple of days to get used to its new habitat. Mine is very active, always in and out of the rock entertaining itself and us.
Also beware, they have been known to jump, so keep your lid on tight.
My girlfriends favorite fish. She loves purple!!

Thanks for all your comments...I'm hoping to catch a glimps of her within the next few days..I haven't seen her at all! She's in 110gal...so I guess I'll just wait and watch!
