You are doing a awsome job. How long have you been building these?
Well, actually this is only my second tank stand; my first one was my own out of aromatic cedar. I've been doing cabnetry work and building log furniture as a hobby/side job off and on for about 10 years now. Haven't updated it in awhile, but here's the link to my tank/stand.

Once they were dry, I had to place locks. The owner had requested that the bottom doors lock because he has several young children, and he didn't want them getting into chemicals or dropping stuff in the sump. So I placed a bolt on one door and a inset lock on the other.
Bottom doors mounted (lock on bottom)

Top doors mounted

Full shot of completed stand

and a full tank shot of his 120g aquarium

Now its up to teamv08 to get his thread up and going.

Great job Randy, I know cuase of all the steps I was involved in!!! Isn't it nice though that the person you built for is still raving dailly about how awsome their stand and canopy turned out! Don't know where you find time just to update threads after so much time building projects, work, honey do's, etc (do you function without sleep?).

Do you think the owner TeamV will ever learn to post here? I would love updates on tank growth and development since we set it up too.

Awe-inspiring. Simply Beautiful. I know you've gotten a lot of those comments, but still -- this is the kind of craftmanship that really shines. I especially like the rustic trim and door handles -- I wouldn't have thought of that at all.
So, like Teresa said.......when can I expect mine for my 110g tall?

Wow Scopus. You make me want to bring a sledge hammer to my stand and hood and start all over with a design like yours. If I had the time I would. Thats an awesome job.
Thanks for posting

More than welcome, and thank you for your kind words - however, don't take a sledge to your stand and hood - at least not till you have to build the others first

Not really a fan of things rustic. However the craftsmanship and care with which you built this stand are truly exceptional. Nicely done Randy!!!!
