Rusty and Flame angels in the same tank?

I've read conflicting info on keeping both a Rusty and Flame angels in the same tank. Some say as long as they do not look similar it is OK while other sources say only one dwarf angel per tank.
I have a Rusty already. So can I add a Flame angel or not?

What size tank do you have? If the tank is big enough then it shouldn't be a problem. jw would probably be the best person to answer this question.

That's what I thought. I'll just keep the one until I go to a bigger tank.
Thanks for the replies!!

A definate no in a 28 gallon. A 28 IMO is to small for any of the dwarf species. They would live for a while, but they wouldn't be happy. I had my flame in my 80 for a while, and he constantly paced back and forth. Since I have moved him to my 240 he's been much happier. Just cruises around the LR picking at the algae all day.

dwarf angels are funny fish there little with big tempers you can get by with one, with 28gal they say at least 30 min but if you add the two is a fight to the death !!! with those guys, I love dwarf angels but about what size could you get away with 2 of them probaby at least a 200? BIOREEFER

Hi, My pygme flame angel and my six line wrasse are best buds....they kind of like to swim together kind of playing at times.
Don't know if they all do this....may be just these two. A six line wrasse is a good fish for a thirty gallon. I wouldn't put more than two to three small fish in the thirty gallon. They say that the pygme angels can only be kept one to a tank from what I have read. Lesley
