well I dug him out and I gotta say ill never do that again. That was such a pain I think Id rather have left it. I did get it out after moving about 50 lbs of rock and numerous corals etc... took about 2 hours (no kidding!!!!) Man the things we wont do for our tanks!!!!!

I'll bet you the anemone goes right back to where it was within a month. They move where they want to. I am not trying to lecture anyone, but I really think hobbyists that do not allow their anemones to stay where they wander might need to rethink having an anemone.
It is kind of like making your dog sit in one corner of the house, right where the sunrays are coming through the window or where a chilly draft is blowing..... just because the dog looks good siting there. Let the anemone chill where it wants!!!

Dont get me wrong I didnt want to move it! I mean that in a good way. Anyway the reason I did is because it was getting no light and I could not feed it where it was. I was under the impression that they need light and food to survive. :confused: :notsure:
