Sad brain

In my tank is a rather sickly green brain that I moved to the top to try and revive. :(
My question: Do these guys ever recover, or is he a lost cause? He's not adding much asthetically to my tank at this point and he's taking up a prime perch...
thx for input.

What kind of Brain?
They are prone to bleaching events, especially with light changes. They do recover. I had two that bleached on me even though I was trying to be careful about changing out my bulbs. One has fully recovered, and you wouldn't know it happened. The other is about halfway there now. Now I'm nuking it with MH and hope they don't bleach again. Fingers crossed.

I have the geofferii species under 3-96watt PCs lights in my 80-gallon reef. I at first put him in the middle area of the tank, but it wasn't until I put him about 6 inches from the water surface did he really begin to thrive. They seem to need a lot of light...
