OK....I am ordering some inverts for my tank: anemone crab, cluster crab, 10 hermit crabs asst, duster cluster, coral banded shrimp, peppermint shirmp........if i make sure and get a very small saddle puffer and feed him regularly am i still at risk of him eating my inverts??
thanks

Anemone crab, feather dusters, and small hermits would be at the highest risk IMO.I have two bluespotted puffers.I have been adding my clean up crew slowly and carefully. So far I am having luck with the following:1 med. scarlet hermit,3 red legged hermits,2 large electric blue hermits,1 fighting conch,1 coral banded shrimp,2 keyhole limpets, detritus eating long legged brittle star, large turbos, and large snails w/ serrated edges:have a foot like mexican's,nassarius snails:the puffers have hit these a few times...but seem to lose interest pretty quick, and 1 cerith snail.

do you think it will help to add the inverts first. I wont be adding the puffer for like another one to two weeks.
anyone else have thoughts...I know out of all the people that have sw that more than one has puffers...and i know someone has a sadlle puffer.

i think u'll just have to see... every fish is diff, mine can;t get to the blue hermits, and he leaves the emrald alone.... any snail i put in he eats, he ate 12 turbos... the black snails are good though.. they just stay under the sand and do their thing....
