This is my sailfin i had since he was 1 1/2 inches, now he is pushing 8 inches. Feel Free To Add Your Sailfins or any large tangs you had since they we're very small. I'll take any comments you have.

That is the Red Sea Sailfin, correct? How long did it take to get that big?
My Sailfin is still just a baby.
But My Hippo Tang has doubled in size, growing much faster than my sailfin. I've had my Hippo since July and my Sailfin since August.

My largest tang is my Yellow Tang, however the Hippo is closing in fast.

Here are all three tangs together, taken back in September. This was soon after I added my Yellow Tang who was not doing very well at the time, but as you can see from the picture above he's doing great now. But this just gives you an idea of their size.

Way off subject but what did you do to promote such good coraline growth?

You know, I get that question a lot and I wish I could say I've worked hard for it, but I didn't. I bought 100 lbs of live rock from SWF and it already had some good coraline on it. I've kept my calcium around 450 and it's just taken off. Now even all my base rock is covered and all my rock has that deap purple, I love it! I add Kent Marine Turbo-Calcium a few times a week with my top-off and that's about it.
