Salifert Ca Test

Hi Guys,
Im just a little confuddled.
You know where it says to add 2 drops at a time of Ca1 until it changes to a pinky red colour, how many should you add? It says the average is 15 but it takes about 6-10 for me. How many does it take anyone else? Will it make any difference on the readings?
Thanks!
Tim.

This is what my Salifert test instruction say:
Add 6 drops of Ca-1 to the water in the test vial and swirl gently for 10 seconds. For low resolution 3 instead of 6 drops.
Do you have different instructions?

yes it seems so....it says to 'add until it has gone pink/red, swirling after every two, average number of drops is 15 but can be more or less'.
Hmmm have i got an older model or something? it so happens that about 6 drops is what it takes for me...
