I know I am bugging the crap out of everyone for all these " is this dangerous and what about this". If I am getting out of hand just tell me and I will stop.
I want one of these cool things, but not if he gets mean and kills fish

i have one in my 135 and he causes no harm whatsoever. I rerely see him, but when i do he is fun to watch and just hangs around grazing on algae!

I have a SallyLightfoot in my tank and it is not aggressive at all. I am going to add another one to my tank as well. My Sally does not bother anything in the tank. But I guess there is always exceptions to the rule. :)

I have one in my 50 gal reef and he is constantly eating algae and moving all around the tank (very visible). He has never bother fish or coral. But I have read numerous posts about these crabs being coral and fish killers. I think most are OK but with all crabs you pay your money and takes your chances.

For the most part lightfoot crabs are peaceful
and they do their own thing.
try to purchase them when they are fairly small.
I have a lightfoot crab in my tank
with a arrowhead crab and they get along fine.
my lightfoot has always been peaceful until
I bought a blood red shrimp for $30.
I dropped that shrimp in my tank and before he even hit the ground my lightfoot tore him a
new ass <img src="graemlins//evilwhorn.gif" border="0" alt="[Evil Horn]" /> I couldnt believe my eyes. <img src="graemlins//bah.gif" border="0" alt="[bah]" />
Thats the only bad expierence I've had with lightfoot crabs, otherwise there peaceful :) <img src="graemlins//bah.gif" border="0" alt="[bah]" />

Yes. Sad to report, but, I had a yellow tang who constantly picked on the mucous of a leather coral, a toadstool, I guess. :( P***ed me off!
