Sounds good!
It is a chile, not a chunky salsa. Same uses but a completely different way to produce it. I love that flavor much more. Because you actually taste the peppers and those produce a much different flavor than salsa (which imo is nothing more than spicy onions tomatos and garlic)

I'll stick to my homemade canned Picante sauce. It's awesome. My husband grows habaneros. We have 40 plants in our garden right now and they're all loaded with peppers. He eats them right off the plant. I can't even touch the plant without being on fire.
I'm a wimp and I'll admit it. I'll stick to my jalepenos, anaheims and banana peppers.

BLASPHEMER!!!!!
fruity "salsa" is too "fu-fu"...

Herdez Salsa Casera is the best commercial salsa, IMHO...that is one thing we NEVER run out of. of course, nothing beats a good homemade salsa or pico de gallo.
actually, yesterday, i was at a test facility we use, and the owner took me to a mom-n-pop mex. place (always the best places), and Maria makes "special" chile rellenos with jalapenos instead of the normal Anaheim or Pasilla chiles...talk about YUMMY!!!

Make it with a couple of habaneros and it'll stull burn its way out just like a tomato or tomatillo salsa!

Fruit is an important part of the Mexican food. There is nothing wrong with a fruity salsa. Not my personal favorite but it sure can be good when done right...
