I just bought a fancy reader and it says my salt is low at 29 and yet temp is 76F and specific gravity is 1.025. How do I get the salinity up to 35 without raising the sg???

What exactly are you using to measure? Refractometer,Glass hydrometer,Swing arm,or Conductivity Meter?

Salinity is directly proportional to Specific Gravity and Temperature. In other words, if the temperature doesn't change you cannot raise Salinity without raising the Specific Gravity.
One of the devices you are using is giving an erroneous reading. At 76F if your Salinity is 29ppt then your Specific Gravity is 1.021. If your Specific Gravity is 1.025 then the Salinity is 35ppt. So, one of your devices is incorrect.
If you purchased a Salinity Meter (or a Conductivity Meter) and you calibrated it then I would trust that your Salinity is 29ppt. Once you have a device that accurately measured Salinity you not longer have to worry about testing Specific Gravity.
