Salt build up

I have been meaning to ask this but what do all of you do about the salt build up on your tank. It is on my middle brace, sides of tanks, and my spray bar. My spray bar was easy because I just took it off and washed it off...but what do all of you do about the build up ??

wipe it off and keep on wiping it off. the only way to keep it to a minimum is see whats causing it. filters splashing in, micro bubbles popping at the surface, spray bars splashing. the only way to keep it to a minimum is to try to keep all water going in from those things is to get them to go just under the water surface to stop the splashing. if you can not do that then all you can do is wipe it off daily or weekly.

Now what would you wipe it off with? I am so nervous about sticking something in the tank that can harm it!!! lol. I do have a spray bar and it was pointed wrong but I just fixed it...

I use a damp paper towel or a sponge, try to not get the salt creep from the outside top of the tank in the water the best you can, it will have some room dust in it, so try not to knock that much in your tank. but the rest of it just wipe with a paper towel or sponge with RO water NO windex or anything like that.

haha I know no windex , I atleast know that...Thanks! I will be getting to the de-salting of my tank tomorrow!!!
