Salt creep help!

With the help of this forum I was able to completely rid my tank of Cyanobacteria! Now my next step is tackling the annoying salt creep all around the top of my tank. It covers the rim of the tank, around the filter, pretty much everywhere around the top. I do have a lid but that doesn't seem to stop it. Any tips on how to prevent this???

Dont think your going to rid of it 100% but you can do things to help stop it I had a problem in the first chamber in sump, added a nylon sock to inlet pipe and reduced the splashing effect. I would look at a similar approach. Air stones/bubbles near the rim. I keep my water level right above the black rim (reg 55 gal). Congrats on the Cyano just won that battle last week too

Agreed, any splashing, bubbles, ect will cause it. You will always get some. Just part of sw maintenance

as side note if you are getting that much splashing make sure you have drip loops on all your electrical equipment

The splashing seems minimal. I have a hang-on-side filter but the salt creep is on the opposite side of the tank. And yes good thinking! All of my cords have drop loops
