Salt Creep

I have seen a product in the store called salt creep. I am wondering if any one has ever used it. I really dont like the idea of using chemicals near the water but I do have a huge problem with salt build up on the top of the tank. Any thoughts?

I purchased a small bottle of "Salt Creep Eliminator" a while back, and it's been completely worthless. What has helped me out, however, is installing a 3" fan to blow fresh air into my canopy. Ever since I got a little air circulating in there my salt creep problems have nearly disappeared.
