Salt kill lettuce nudibranch

Hi, had a wonderful lettuce nudibranch, seemed fine, not too active. Would stay in one place alot, then move around and eat. Seemed to dislike water changes (weekly) then, last time my salt was a little low so I poured in a concentrated amount to sump to bump it up. Would that have killed it. Do they turn black when they die? Thanks

I've had one die, and he just curled up and laid lifeless. didn't change color.
If the salt got into the tank, pre-dissolved, it could've burned him....maybe thats why he turned black?

Osmotic shock is certainly a possibility.
In the future, to raise salinity all you need to do is use saltwater for topoff for a few days until the target value is reached..
