What type of salt do you use for hatching brine and what salinity works best? I have been using the salt that I use to mix my water for my reef and even though some hatch, just not sure I've got the mixture right. Any suggestions?

are you useing capsulated or decapsulated brine.
here are the Optimum Perams for Hatching
Temperature 25-28°C (77-82°F) For hatching
Salinity 30-35 ppt
Ph 8.2 (<8.0 or >9.0 will result in death)
Light 24 hour bright light for hatching (50-100 lux)
O2 Levels > 4 ppm for hatching
here ar the Optimum Levels for On-growing:
Temperature 22-26°C (72-78°F) For on-growing
Salinity 30-35 ppt
Ph 8.2 (<8.0 or >9.0 will result in death)
Light dimmed light is recommended (< 50 lux)
O2 Levels > 2 ppm for on-growing
here is some reading for ya about hatching taiseing and feeding brine.

Mike, Thanks! I am using capsulated now, but hope to try decapsulating some in a few days. I can buy large brine locally, but the 11 baby seahorses I have remaining are eating all the baby brine I can hatch.
