All of the salts are good in each their own way. You simply have to learn by doing your own testing which one works best for you. I have used a bunch of different, and I am now a firm beliver in Instant ocean.
Although the calcium is tested at slightly lower than it needs to be (380-400), that is easily fixed anyway by using B-ionic 2 part which is a great product (alk and calc).
All of the other tests done on the IO seem to be right in line with what a reef tank needs. You obviously don't go by the suggested mixture on the box (1/2 cup per gallon) as this will only bring you to 1.022.
Point is, don't rely on results or reccomendations of others. You should be testing your mixed replacement water and your tank water at every couple of changes (more so in the begining-every change) so that you can see where you need to supplement or not.
