Salt mix showdown!!!! Best and worst!!

I prefer Reef Crystals over most any other brand I have used although I have been intrigued by my limited use of Seachem's Reef Salt.

for Oceanic. Only thing is you have to add buffer to raise the Alk.

Well folks this post did I believe help a few peeps out there. I would like to thank all who helped out! I'd also like to say I learned a few things from this post IMO You get what you pay for When It comes to Salt. Salt (and of coarse water) is the backbone of our attempt to copy what mother nature has perfected!!

I'm new to this hobby, and so far I am not enjoying this bucket of Coralife. I believe I will look for the Tropic Marine next time. Unfortunately I have 2 bags left out of the three... I have had Ph problems, and obvioulsy I should be buffering before water changes. Learning things the hard way sucks.

I have a bucket of Tropic Marine on order now.. I am having some PH problems with the IO i am using atm so maybe i will do a massive waster change when i get the tm and see if that helps.

i just did a fresh batch of TM 32gallons at 1.025 my PH was at 8.2 u shouldnt have to buffer with a good salt
