Salt water back to freshwater?

Hey everyone, looking to pick-up something in the 125 gallon range either glass or plexiglass and am wondering if anything other than a good scrubbing is needed to turn a saltwater tank back to freshwater or has the salt leached into things to the point where this is a bad idea?
Before anyone asks, I need to re-home my school of silver dollars before they can no longer turn around in the 55 they currently are living in, so I need to deal with this before I can even think about saltwater upgrades.
One of my LFS has a good selection of used tanks for fairly cheap, but as usual when dealing with a LFS it is wise to get a second opinion here.

You can probably sanitize it the same as going from fw to sw...
When I did mine, I filled tank up with water, and added bleach, let soak a few hours, drained
filled tank back up with water and added dechlorinator, let soak for a few hours...emptied, rinsed well
and went from there

You can not use any decorations, rock, filter media, or sand from a saltwater to a freshwater. You can use the tank and lights but that is all.

Thanks for the quick reply yesterday, it is a really nice thing about the forum. I found a used 125 in good shape for fairly cheap, but passed because it was a tank only. The search continues.
