I am going to order some salt mix any day. Ive used IO sinse 8/06 Ive have little or no coraline growth and my calcium is always around 300. I have a 55g FOWLR should I change brands of salt? I see Reef Crystals is onsale where I normally order my supples. Any input?

Switch to reef crystals, I use it and its great

What sort of lighting are you using? I had a FOWLR tank for years with standard lighting and saw no coraline growth. Switched to PCs, and now I can barely control it. Oh, and I was using IO. Only recently switched to Reef Crystals because I have several corals now.

I use standard lights there on about 6hrs a day

I use the lights that came with the tank , nothing special
