Salt?

What type of salt do you use? I hope this is not a repeat question... but have you ever did a search for "Salt" on this board

i use reef crystals or istant ocean. I think that reef crystals was the best kind i ever used because of the quick disolving.

I guess I should ask, what types of links are inappropriate to post? Hope these do not fall into that category.

I use Instant Ocean and have had good results. However, I doubt the type of salt matters for most. There are so many other decisions, habits and choices that affect the quality of your water more that the type of salt, that I doubt most folks ever get to the point that the salt brand matters. Now I know there are people here and elsewhere that will attribute their success to the brand of salt, I tend to give the credit more to the person.
I'm not saying it doesn't matter, I'm saying it doesn't matter as much as people tend to imply. Most of the people whose skill in this hobby I've admired, would (and do) return the same excellent result with any of the major brands of salt.

REEF CRYSTALS BOASTS that it adds nutrients and elements but i tend to stick with instant ocean because i its..... (im getting embarassed) cheaper.... sorry all but this is one case where i think its okay to cut corners.
