ty krusty then i dont think i will change anything because so far i havent lost a fish only been into this salt water for about six months but from what i have read so far that is pretty lucky not to lose a fish.when i was doing tropical i lost fish all the time,dont know why but i did. but i love the saltwater alot better and i think i like the inverts and live rock more then the fish.again thanks all of you 4 the help love this site.mrswv

your current setup will work, it is just not OPTIMAL. however, hindsight is 20/20.
LS is maintenance free and can help to reduce 'ates.
for a FO setup a UGF is fine, but for a reef tank, a UGF will cause nothing but problems in the long run.
